"The Elder" - 3 string slide electric guitar

3 strings
body - pine frame and knotty t&g pine boards.
neck - poplar
fret board - pressed , /carved pine .
pickup - jet black mini humbucker .
tuners - jet black smoothies .
bridge - floating vintage ruler piece with black screw
nut - floating black screw shank
sound hole - natural knot
vinegar / steel wool and flame finish .
add ons / special feat's..- -----
special reverb spring inside , uneven cut barn board look design . back bottom plank is an access panel .,for jack , etc.., thin-line design , lightweight , string through body anchor. straight pup to jack , no vol / tone controls , nut and bridge are both adjustable ..

DESCRIPTION :
Don't let the barn board-ish , uneven cuts, slapped together look fool you ,, this guitar was specifically designed that way giving it that instant mojo essence . Alot of planning went into this guitar, after building many guitars in the past and knowing what works good . and sounds good ,, and looks great .
the " Elder " is all that tied into one awsome bluesy , rocky , mojo slide machine . with just enough natural static to get that authentic sound . (like the vinyl record lovers try to reproduce on newer systems , but can't) . this has it .. without hurting the quality .
Built for slide only , without frets , although you can get away with fingering in many spots like a fretless. .. . no volume or tone control due to the fact most people don't need em ,, and to save the look of the guitar . however the back bottom panel can be removed by unscrewing the 2 screws at each end to access the inside / jack etc.. and you could add vol / tone pots through there if desired . ( the rest of the body panels are glued and screwed . )
These are built to order . - Although this line will all follow the same design , it is not a cookie cutter processed guitar. i build it specifically with you in mind , and for you when you order it numbered and signed . it will usually ship out within a week of payment .
NOTE - this is not a high dollar production gibson etc... , nor does it play as such .. it is built in the tradition of the home buillt / handmade 3 string cigar box guitars of the depression era . expect small quirks and an unpolished feel . these are also made by hand one at a time .. expect small slight differences in stain and finish etc.
